Relaxation? Sports massage? There are so many different types. Look into schools in your area. Any reputable school will let you stop in & check it out. Talk to the students. Does the school have a job placement policy? Find out what is needed for licensing or certification in your state. Are you comfortable touching strangers? Having to massage hairy backs & funky feet? There is a lot of literature out there to get info. It's also a good idea to check out the number of massage therpists in your area. Is there room for 1 more or is your area so over populated with them that there isn't enough business? The income can be very sporadic. A bunch of clients for a couple of months, then none for a couple of weeks. Check out these websites.
