* 1. Get together with several of your friends to plan the event - Your friends need to have some interest in health and beauty in order for the party to work.
* 2. Write down the types of treatments that you want to try - At professional beauty bars, the hostess brings in someone to do botox or laser hair removal. This time you will need to go slightly lower key. You can bring in your own homemade treatments or a small tube of your favorite product for everyone to try.
* 3. Have different sessions for each treatment. - You might have a beauty treatment session where everyone gets facials first and a glamour session second where you get to try new types makeup. Each person will bring a single product to contribute to each session.
* 4. Make sure you have acquired the correct equipment- Before starting make sure you have facial cleaning towelettes, disposable makeup brushes, mirrors, good lighting and a digital camera. If you plan on doing before and after shots, then you might also want a cloth, velvet or fur drape to “glam up” the pictures.
