I am preparing for my Massage Therapy schooling, by starting off with an Anatomy course online. I heard from several sources that it is a HARD course to learn and do well in. I have never had medical background and I want to make sure I understand what I'm getting myself into with Massage school. Any tips? study tips?
Get one or more of those large anatomy maps and keep it in your room where you can refer to it often. Remembering all those muscles, bones and other things IS hard!

I go to an online college part time called everest online for criminal justice associates, i get financial aid and my loans are through salie mae for school. There is a message therapy course for 9 months I really want to take it, will financial aid cover both? Or would I need another loan? Or can I even do the massage therapy? I emailed the school but its after working hours

You can do this if you have time, but unless you say otherwise, financial aid will be given to only one school usually. I may be wrong about that… I haven't noticed if you can put more than one school for attendance on your FAFSA.
BUT if you have extra (like I tend to) and get a refund, you could probably use it to pay for the other classes. The massage therapy or the online school may even offer their own types of aid, including grants and scholarships that you could take advantage of.
But if you have time to put into both programs, you are totally allowed to do both. I got a certificate online and attend a live University. I paid out of pocket/with credit for my certificate program, which may also be an option– payment plans. A lot of programs offer that too.

I am considering going to school for my bachelor's degree to become a therapist. I should preface this by saying that I do not have a college degree but have attended other post-secondary schooling (1 psychology class, word processing certificate and massage therapy school).
My question is, as a person who has never attended college, would it be more advantageous to be if I attended a brick and mortar school rather than took online courses for a psychology degree? I do realize that I would need to at least have a masters degree to do anything with a psychology degree. I also realize that there are certain classes that you could 'get away' with taking as online courses. Do you think online psych classes (at least beginning classes) are fine or do you think that would look bad to a potential employer or grad school?
Does anyone have any advice? I am asking for complete honesty with the responses.

I don't know that it matters. However, most univ. will not take classes you have finished online..they are different accreditations. You also do not get aide for most online schools. The decision is yours but i would check and be sure your univ. will accept them
