travel business card holder?

Posted by admin on Jan 12, 2009

i'm looking for a business card holder that i can bring with me on the road. i would like for it to have something to do massage therapy since that's what i do. do you know of any websites i could purchase this item from? thanks
thanks for your comments . i was really wanting one that i could stick in my purse.. thanks!

I saw a wonderful desk top one with the medical staff on it. It was at www.memorablegifts.com
Another idea is to use the mannequin hands that used to keep jewelry on. They are normally used for holding rings, watches and bracelets. Turn the hand so that it is palm up, and have something written at the base. Such as your always in good hands. It is unique and a sure fire attention getter. Hope this helps.

Can you please explain the difference?

Posted by admin on Jan 10, 2009

i'm looking into colleges and i know what i want to do: marine biology, music, psychology and massage therapy, i don't know if i'm going to go to school for all or just 2 yet, anyways, i would like to know what the undergraduate, graduate, associates and bachelors degrees are for (or how they are different) and also are they different from majors? the whole thing confuses me, so i'm not really sure where i should be looking, on the websites of the colleges i'm researching, for the things i want to study.
i forgot: what's a minor?

Major – subject you are studying
Associates – 2 year degree
Bachelors – 4 year degree
Undergraduate – anyone who has or is going to school for a 4 year degree or less
Graduate – someone who has their bachelors and is going for a masters or a phd
Masters – 2+ more years on top of the bachelors
PhD – 2-4+ years on top of the masters

If you want to major in one of the fields you listed get onto the colleges you are interested in going to and click on "undergraduate" and then there should be a link to degree programs…or something similar to this pattern. Most all college websites are set up similarly for easy navigation.

I was diagnosed bell's palsy – can I use accupressure to improve the results of the therapy?

Posted by admin on Jan 8, 2009

I wonder if I can do any sort of massage of palm or ear (except the so-called "face retraining")? I know very lttle about accupressure but a friend of mine told me that it may help the medications and my face to get back to normal. If you have any experience in accupressure, or know some dedicated websites, please, let me know!

The web site below gives good info and supplies links to other sites. I hope it helps you.

I am lost in what type of career i want to go in?

Posted by admin on Jan 6, 2009

I would like to go into health care, or some type of a career in health, or something to do with writting books ,or reading or something. My sophomore year in highschool i took an immense interest in massage therapy, and my senior year i did a project on massage therapy in order to graduate, the mentor i had, for the project, turned me away from those idea's of becomming a massage therapist, because of the way she commented on my responsiblility in my project.
I am scared that i will not find a career, and will not be able to support my family when the time comes to have one. I want to have a successful life, but i do not have the money to pay for a college career, I understand that there are scholarships and grants, but i just need help in finding something i will be happy in doing. I understand that a lot of people change jobs over the years, and that most will not be happy with their first career choice, but i just need some help, maybe websites or a place that could help.

see your guidance counselor or go to the library and get a book on career placement tests. that can help you define your interests.

it's also not uncommon for people to change their minds in college. my friends daughter originally started to study to go into nursing and changed to become a math teacher – go figure!
